The issue of "black male crisis" is really what it is tearing my heart and causing aggression to bring about change "by any means necessary." I recently read an article that openly expressed concern that we lost a generation of young blacks. He also said that the adverse effects of negative factors such as media, gangs, drugs, education, unemployment, father absence, crime, violence and death tore the unlimited potential that our young Black Malethey have inside. Surprisingly, statistics show that young blacks are graduating from high school all-time low, which demonstrates that the dropout rate is higher. Due to low percentage of black males who attend and complete higher education Linking. For a deeper look, what are the statistics gives a strong explanation of the cause of the filtration system in the prisons of the United States of our men of color, which is now well over one million inhabitants. As a young black man and a fathera child, the reality is heartbreaking and frightening to say the least. It is clear that in all that we must get aggressive to ensure that we do not lose a generation of young blacks.

While we now take a look at ourselves and look in the eyes of our young blacks to establish effective path to success we seek to enhance self-image. " E 'first crucial step to strengthen self-image of our black youth, but also our self-image. In the self-image, ISimply talking about our self-concept or how we see ourselves. And "a mental and emotional of his or herself. As fathers, mothers, teachers and mentors of these young blacks that we have confidence in our ability to realize our full potential. It is also important for us to express our youth, our goals and aspirations and allow them to experiment and be our journey to greatness or our "pursuit of happiness." The first stage of lifeour young black male is extremely educational, through what is seen and heard. Think if you have a dominant figure in the life of a young brother and what he receives from you is mostly complaints about your life, work, relationships and you should, could and should be rich, so the chances that connect its image of itself the possibility of success is lowered. Believe me, I know there are many obstacles we encounter in life and many others will come when you walkend to the pursuit of your passion. But complaining and excuses only perpetuates a cycle of low self-image in those who look to us for advice.

As a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, I know that before the troops can go into a hostile situation are "Briefed" to ensure they are ready, focused and confident to complete the mission. Therefore, to save our black boys is a combat with live ammunition and as fathers, mothers, teachers andmentors, we must be "Briefed", in which we must be prepared, focused and confident in ourselves and in our ability to accomplish the mission.

So beware! We face the task of "Save Our Black Boys", so come armed for combat and self-image construction .....

Battle Practice 1:

Let's evaluate and write our goals and aspirations for our lives and begin to understand the sources of our happiness and our misery. Understanding the sacrifices andadditions that we need to start or continue future of our highest potential. It is important that our men include blacks in this process and explain the importance of self-image building. Also we will try to stop complaining and expend energy to find solutions to our frustration.

The next "The ship Empowerment" will continue to explore the importance of building self-image in "Saving Our Black Boys."

Always remember that "We were not placed herethrowing stones, we were put here to move mountains. "
